Very caring, dedicated staff that went above and beyond in caring for our mother. The family appreciated their wonderful care.

Mom's been living at Pilgrim Manor for over a year. Her progress there has amazed all her family. She has been on Medicare, self-pay, and now Medicaid. She's received the same quality of care for all three. I see all levels of staff and management personally involved in her needs. My questions are promptly and politely answered. Their help greatly assisted a smooth transition to Medicaid. I have been kept well informed of her progress and any issues that have arisen. Even with all the above, without the genuine care and kindness of the staff and management, the quality of life would suffer greatly. That, I think, is the strongest point.

Pilgrim Manor is my home, and I couldn't be happier. The nurses and aides are so good to me; I would never dream of living anywhere else. My room is wonderful; it has a large bathroom with a nice walk-in shower. Having my own bathroom with a shower gives me privacy and lets me keep my independence.

At 92 years of age, I had a total shoulder replacement. Knowing I needed therapy, I selected Pilgrim Manor and their wonderful therapist. What a great experience! In a very short period of time, I was able to return home with full use of my shoulder. If I ever need therapy again, Pilgrim Manor is where I will go; they even have outpatient therapy.

When we needed nursing care for our dad, we visited Pilgrim Manor. The first thing that we said was, "it doesn't smell like a nursing home." The facility is so clean and refreshing. The caring way my dad was treated by the staff was amazing. I will never forget when I came in one evening when my dad wasn't doing well; the nurse was sitting on the floor holding his hand and just talking soothingly to him. That's why I choose Pilgrim Manor.
